When you finish creating your account you confirm you're 16 or over and agree to these terms, and we keep a record of that agreement. If we make a material change we'll ask you to agree again. Last updated 14 September 2026.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must be 16 or over to use LobbyRoom. One person, one account.
You keep ownership of what you post. When you upload or post content to LobbyRoom, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose of operating, providing and improving the service. That includes the right to host, store, reproduce, process, resize or otherwise technically adapt, display and distribute your content as needed to make it available through LobbyRoom.
This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to LobbyRoom. The licence for that content ends when the content is deleted from LobbyRoom or when your account is deleted, except where limited residual copies remain temporarily in backups as described in the Privacy Policy, or where retention is required by law.
We will not sell your content, use it for advertising, train AI models on it, or license it to unrelated third parties.
When you post or upload content to LobbyRoom — including text, photographs, images, artwork, screenshots, memes, GIFs, video or other material — you are responsible for making sure you have the rights, licences, permissions or other lawful basis needed to post it, and to allow LobbyRoom to use it as described above.
You must not knowingly post content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights. The fact that an image or other material is publicly accessible elsewhere on the internet does not by itself mean you have permission to upload it here.
You don't have to own everything you post outright. Permission from the rights-holder, a licence, public-domain material, or exceptions permitted by law can all give you a lawful basis to post something.
Do not use LobbyRoom to post or send:
Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the app or other people's accounts.
See our Community & Safety Rules for a clearer explanation of the standards that apply across LobbyRoom.
LobbyRoom may remove or restrict content, limit functionality, suspend an account or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:
If a rights-holder makes an appropriate complaint, or if we otherwise reasonably believe content infringes intellectual-property rights, we may remove it, disable access to it or restrict it. We may also take action against accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights — including warnings, restrictions, suspension or, where proportionate, termination. We do not review or verify the copyright status of every upload in advance. See Copyright & intellectual property for how to contact us.
LobbyRoom is provided as-is during the beta. Features may change and the service may be unavailable at times. Keep your own copy of anything you would not want to lose.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your content as described in the Privacy Policy.
